It's always interesting watching how others fabricate canvas covers. There are many ways to make a cover for birds to poop on. LOL Warning to anyone making your pattern in the Desert SW; The strapping tape's glue DOES NOT let go of hot stainless steel. Make your patterns in the winter month or early morning hours only if you use this method.

I made winch covers from the old kit. Interesting that these newer winch covers use a lighter strength (smaller diameter) shock cord in the choker and the shockcord is tied, not sewn into place... One of the issues I have with my winch covers is that you need to have the strength of The Hulk to stretch the choker over the winch top and around the self-tailer line groove...

I just finished this duffle bag, for my adult grandson. I made it using the Patterning at the beginning of this video. Thank you, Sailrite. I used waterproof canvas and made a couple changes. I find it a bit challenging when working with the open end of the zipper. I remedied it by adding a second zipper pull. Voila!

Why not use the original fabric as a pattern ? Also, wouldn't the double sided seam tape you all sell be better for holding seam down while sewing? I have 80 pool side chairs to change out (60 lounge and 20 chairs similar to that chair). I will be ordering fabric from you guys. Great video

Nice video. MUCH easier with the zipper flap as compared to the previous video using a zipper "plaque". BTW, these Japanese Wonder Clips are great. They hold hems/seams together when the basting tape tends not to stick very well and comes apart.
